In celebration of one of the longest running festivals in the Midlands, the 22nd annual Columbia International Festival will be home to more than 70 national exhibitor booths, breathtaking fashion shows, entertaining cultural performers and numerous food vendors. CIF has become the largest international celebration in SC, more than 22,000 visitors attended CIF 2016.
“Here you have the opportunity to visit about 70 national exhibits, sample cuisine from around the world, buy imported gifts and souvenirs in our International Bazaar, and much, much more.”
Nearly 400,000 foreign-born residents represent the international community in the state of South Carolina. These residents also represent every nation in the world. In the Midlands alone, 90 languages are spoken and majority-owned foreign-affiliated companies employ more than 100,000 South Carolinians.
Festival hours are 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M., Saturday, April 1, and 12:00 noon to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, April 2. Admission is $7 per adult and free for children ages 12 and under. Active military personnel get free admission with ID.
