COLUMBIA MUSEUM OF ART LAUNCHES ¡FUERZA!

Palmetto Luna Arts is launching its Latino Arts MESS 2014 with their second art show at the Columbia Museum of Art.
¡FUERZA!, Spanish for strength, force, and power, is a Latino art show featuring 12 graphic novel-style panels. ¡Fuerza! visually explores the connections between domestic violence and the underrepresented minorities in the United States through the lenses of a cadre of Latino artists based in South Carolina.
¡Fuerza! exhibits collaborative work by Piensa Art Company’s artists, Dre López, Sammy López, and Robert Chambers, in association with artists Ashley Berendzen, Mariángeles Borghini, and Alejandro García Lemos.
The opening Reception is on Tuesday, September 23 at 6 PM. Columbia Museum of Art, located on 1515 Main St, Columbia, SC 29201. Other activities for Latino Arts MESS 2014 also include:
