Latino market nearly doubled in size and tripled in power

As we all gradually get back into our normal work routines, we find that it's now been sixteen years since we started Hispanic Marketing 101. A lot has evolved over the last nearly two decades:

The Latino marketplace has nearly doubled in size and tripled in power.

Latino media has also grown in every way possible: Audience size; Number of markets covered; Time spent using it; and Revenues.

Latino products are hotter than ever. For example, Mexican foods are the most popular cuisine in America.

On the cultural side we've also seen Latino art and music rapidly increase. With the massive success of the movie Coco I only hope we will see more Latino themed movies and TV shows being funded.

In 2000 there were books published by around 1,500 to 2,000 Latino authors in the USA. Today there are 25,000 to 30,000 Latino authors - and sales are increasing.

Perhaps the GREATEST thing is the POTENTIAL. We don't know the market will be in another decade, but we do know it will be MUCH LARGER and MUCH MORE IMPORTANT than today.

Here's this week quote: "Hope Smiles from the threshold of the year to come, Whispering 'it will be happier'..."  ~ Alfred Tennyson

If you find a quote you like let me know. I will be happy to send to our 13,400 plus Hispanic advertising and media executives and give you a plug for sending it! Our Goal Latino Print Network's goal with each issue is for you to say at least once "Glad I learned that".
