The court interpretation training at Greenville Tech begins this coming Friday (June 14th) at 6:00 pm.
Mastery of the interpretation techniques, bilingual legal terminology, and strict adherence to the code of ethics are key elements that advance the highest quality services in the Judiciary.
The Buck Mickel Center of Greenville Technical College offers an 80-hour Legal Interpretation course that prepare bilingual individuals who possess educated fluency in Spanish and English to serve as a qualified interpreter in the judicial system and to sit for the South Carolina Legal Interpretation Certification Exam.
The Legal Interpretation training has
4 segments which must be taken in order: Legal Interpretation Level One, Legal Interpretation Level Two, Legal Interpretation Level Three, Legal Interpretation Level Four

González emphasized: “Besides preparing you to successfully pass the national certification exam for state court interpreters, this class will give you a clear understanding and appreciation of the judiciary system in the United States.”
